Set up Amazon Prime Video on MyTV 

Connect Your Smart TV to the Internet

Before you can stream Amazon Prime Video, make sure your smart TV is connected to the internet. Whether you use Wi-Fi or an Ethernet cable, check your TV’s network settings to ensure a stable connection.

Install the Amazon Prime Video App (If Needed)

Most modern smart TVs come with the Amazon Prime Video app pre-installed. However, if you don't see the app on your home screen, follow these steps to install it:

1. Open the app store or marketplace on your TV (Google Play Store, Samsung Apps, LG Content Store, etc.).
2. Search for “Amazon Prime Video.”
3. Download and install the app.

Open the Amazon Prime Video App

Once the app is installed, locate it in your TV's app menu and open it. You'll see the welcome screen, where you'll need to sign in or activate the service on your TV.

Find the Activation Code

Once the Amazon Prime Video app is open, you will be prompted to log in or enter an activation code.

1. Look for the "Activate Your Device" screen on your TV.
2. You’ll see a unique 6-8 digit activation code displayed on your screen. This code is necessary to link your smart TV to your Amazon account.

Visit amazon.com/mytv

On your smartphone, tablet, or computer, open your browser and go to [amazon.com/mytv]. This is the page where you'll enter the activation code.

Sign In to Your Amazon Account

To proceed, you'll need to sign in with the Amazon account that holds your Prime Video subscription. If you don’t already have an account, you can create one right on the website.

Enter the Activation Code

On the amazon.com/mytv page, you’ll be prompted to enter the activation code you saw on your TV screen. Type it in carefully and click "Activate."

Complete the Activation

Once you’ve entered the code, your smart TV should automatically refresh, and you’ll be signed into Amazon Prime Video. You’re now ready to browse and start watching your favorite shows and movies!
